Why you should choose RefundHalt

Send evidence, not only a preference

RevenueCat's documentation says it does not send consumption percentages or usage events. RefundHalt sends Apple a consumption percentage and sends Google the usage events from your server, so the reviewer can see what the customer used.

Keep the purchase setup you have

RefundHalt needs no SDK and no app update. It works on the server side with the official store APIs, next to RevenueCat or without it.

Grant, prorate or decline with your own rules

Write ordered rules on price, usage, refund history, country or product. Grant small goodwill cases, offer a prorated refund for partial use and contest heavy users.

Pay a flat price

When RevenueCat is the better choice

If your app already runs on RevenueCat and a refund preference is enough for you, Refund Control is included in every plan at no extra cost, and there is no new vendor to add. RevenueCat also gives you paywalls, entitlements and experiments.

You can also use both. Keep RevenueCat for purchases, forward App Store notifications between the two services, and set Refund Control to "Do not respond to refund requests" so only RefundHalt answers.

Frequently asked questions

Does RevenueCat answer Google Play refund requests?
Yes. RevenueCat started answering Google Play chargeback reviews in August 2026. Like every service, it can only answer chargebacks, because Google decides normal Google Play refund requests without asking the developer.
Does RevenueCat send Apple a consumption percentage?
No. RevenueCat's documentation says it does not collect or send consumption percentages or usage events for individual transactions.
Can I use RefundHalt and RevenueCat together?
Yes. Forward App Store notifications between the two services and set RevenueCat's Refund Control to "Do not respond to refund requests". Only one service should answer each case.
Is RefundHalt a RevenueCat alternative?
For refund handling and refund and subscription analytics, yes. For paywalls and entitlements, no. RefundHalt does not change how your app sells.
